SANAA, Aug. 28 (Xinhua) -- Yemen's Houthi rebels said they launched a cruise missile at Saudi Arabia's Abha airport on Wednesday night, Houthi-run al-Masirah TV reported.
"The missile targeted a military operation center and adjoining aircraft hangars in the airport," the television quoted a statement from the group's military spokesman Yahya Sarea as saying.
There was no Saudi confirmation of the attack.
If confirmed, it would be the second such deadly attack on Abha airport after a Houthis' cruise missile attack in June that injured 26 people.
Saudi Arabia has been leading an Arab military coalition against Iran-backed Houthis in Yemen for more than four years in support of the exiled internationally-recognized government of Yemeni President Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi.
