BEIRUT, Feb. 12 (Xinhua) -- A group of Syrian refugees launched a campaign calling for deporting them from Lebanon to escape the harsh living conditions in the country, said a report by Elnashra, an online independent newspaper.
The group said that they have not gotten their legal, security, humanitarian and medical rights for five years, said the report on Tuesday.
The rights include fair distribution of humanitarian support, obtaining documents needed by the displaced people, and issuing residency permits for Syrians, the group said.
Lebanon hosts more than 1.3 million Syrian refugees, including 900,000 registered with the UN High Commissioner for Refugees.
There are no official camps in Lebanon for Syrian refugees, who have to live in tents lacking the necessary conditions for a decent life.
