Folk arts boost cultural tourism in Yan'an, NW China

Ansai District, located in northern part of Shaanxi Province on the Loess Plateau, is widely known for its unique folk arts like Ansai Waist Drum dance, paper-cut, folk songs, folk painting and opera. In recent years, Ansai has made efforts to boost cultural tourism by integrating tourism with these unique folk arts so as to help eradicate poverty.
