One dead after bus plunges into Yangtze River

One person has died following the collision of a private car and a bus which then plunged into the Yangtze River, police said Sunday, adding they have put the driver of the private car under police watch. The body of one of the bus passengers was retrieved from the river by rescuers. The number of passengers on the bus is not yet known. (Xinhua)
